Time Matters and Billing Matters 14 has been released
As you probably know, we normally recommend waiting, but there are fixes to a couple of issues that have affected some of you, and you may not want to wait.
The client/contact name in the regarding fields now stays put when you tab out of the field. (reported issue #5327056); and the duration on the billing record no longer zeros out when you click the timer. (reported issue #5316569)
If you do want to upgrade now, there are some important changes to be aware of:
- Windows XP, Vista, Windows Server 2003 / 2003 SBS are Not Supported.
- SQL Server 2005 (all versions) has Limited Support.
- This is the first 'in-place upgrade. This is a good thing, as it will make the upgrade simpler and faster, but it does overwrite your current program. Please be sure to make a complete backup of the database (both the Time Matters data folder and the SQL database).
